Simple Eotd

I been using this palette everyday since I bought it :) I loVe all of the shades and find it very easy to go from day to night with this palette. Today I did a really simple look using three of these shades.

Green dot: is the shadow I used on my lid
Blue dot: used lightly in my crease
Pink dot: used on the browbone and inner corner of my eye.

please excuse my brows :) I'm letting them grow out

Avon Plump Pout Lip Gloss

Yesterday I got my Avon order and finally got the chance to try these out :) I been waiting around anxiously since I found out Avon carried these...sadly they did not "plump" my lips :( I didn't notice a difference in my lip size at all :/ but it's fine because I ended up loving the lip gloss anyway! :) :) :)
The scent of these reminds me of burts bees honey chapstick. They smell like honey!

Top: Spun Sugar Bottom: Pink Nectar
I thought that spun sugar would be a glittery chunky dark mess but instead it's a light shimmery brown-zero glitter!
Pink Nectar is a color that enhances my lip color-very natural. No shimmer.
Pros: non sticky, moisturizing, honey scent, no tingling sensation, no chunky glitter, retails for $2.99
Cons: do not plump, kind of minty, only available through Avon, brush tip applicator (I like sponge tip)

Wet and Wild Nail Polish

Bought this nail polish in Wet Cement. I'm loving this color! This polish comes with a "manicurve brush" The brush is really flat and thin. When I apply the polish to my nail it spreads the color evenly and it reduces streaks. I'm very satisfied with this polish :) What's your favorite nail polish shade?

Natural Palette

I bought this palette because I'm a sucker for neutrals I lOVe, love, LOVE neutrals. This palette was $6.50 at forever21 and has 10 eyeshdows. I guess it's a knock off of Urban Decay's Naked palette. I passed on the Naked Palette craze, they're beautiful shades bUt I feel that I didn't need another palette of neutral colors...anyway for the price the color pay off is fair and decent. It comes with 2 matte eyeshdows, and one thats has a finish that's comparable to MAC's lustre eyeshdows. The rest of the eyeshadows are shimmery shades. The palette also comes with an eyeliner pencil in black and a double ended mini brush. Sponge tip and angled brush.

These are the last two shades

Sans Fashion Haul

Today I made the drive out to my favorite fashion store, Rhapsodielle. It's an hour and a half away from where I live but I just love the clothes they carry and I always walk out with like 6 bags... Everytime I go they have crates full of items at 75% off! So I made the drive out and I didn't buy anything!! Why?? Because I left my wallet at home. :( At the last minute I decided to change purses and forgot to put the most important thing back in :/ This is a lesson learned. From now on, I will double check to make sure I have everything I need before I walk out the door.
Here's some pictures I took...

What's your favorite fashion store and where is it located?
Rhapsodielle is located in Montebello, CA

Comic Art (do not read if you are bothered by nudity)

My husband painted this today with the collaboration of his artist. This is an interpretation of Frank Cho's art. He is one of my husband's favorite artist.

Frank Cho is a comic book writer and illustrator. This painting kind of reminded me of the girls that the Balm uses on their products.

Has anyone ever tried these?

Shopping My Makeup Stash

Today I looked in my makeup stash for lost and forgotten products. In my search I found....
Cargo matte bronzer in medium. I liked this bronzed because you can build the intensity and it's easier to make it look "natural"
NARS cream blush in Penny Lane. This blush is a baby Pink blush that goes well with my skin tone also I like using it on my lips :)
NARS eyeshadow in Ashes to Ashes one of my favorite taupe eyeshdows. I love to put this shadow over MAC backtrack eyeliner because the color changes to a darker shade of grey
Inglot eyeshadow #33 this shadow has major color pay off! I remember I use to line my bottom lashline with this for a pop of color.
Dianne Brill lip lingerie in Satin Sash. This is the only Dianne Brill item I own and I love it! The color is a shade I think will look great on every skin tone because it's a natural color.
MAC lipstick in Fabby. I would of never discovered this if it wasn't for my husband. He bought it for me because he said he never seen a purple lipstick before... At first I was like huh?? But he's right! This lipstick is a purple/mauvy pink color with gold sheen. :) In the end it's my favorite for 2 reasons-the fact that my husband picked it out on his own and because of the color.
Have you guys been using any lost or forgotten products??
